Guest Services Associate/Event Planner - Part time
Hiring Location: Pastoral Center Department - Catholic Conference and Formation Center (Diocesan-owned)

The Catholic Conference and Formation Center is a ministry of the Diocese of Dallas. We are a hosting facility for retreats, formation, workshops, trainings, etc.
We are looking for a person with experience in event planning and catering. This position work directly with groups and help them plan their retreats/events. This position supports the growing catering division serving other ministries of the Diocese. This employee must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed.
High level of customer service.
Positive, creative, approachable, organized, resourceful, flexible.
Proven ability to successfully communicate in verbal and written form (English and Spanish).
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software programs as needed.
Interpersonal communication skills and must enjoy interacting well with all who come to the center.
Knowledge of general business etiquette.
Education and Experience:
Hospitality or event planning degree or 3 years of equivalent experience
CMP a plus
Experience in the use of a personal computer and related software products
Minimum of three years of administrative experience or event planning/hotel/retail/restaurant training
Bilingual English/Spanish a must
