Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This position is the first point of contact for the church office. The individual should present a positive, professional image to all staff and visitors to the church office. The following responsibilities should be done with a pastoral and positive approach always supporting the teachings of the Catholic Church.
o Open and Close the Office at the times needed.
o Administrative Tasks (filing, copies, take messages, etc.).
o Answer questions over the phone expediently or transfer to the area/ministry requested.
o Answer email inquiries made through the parish website.
o Help people that come in with questions.
o Receive packages/mail and make sure they get to the people addressed.
o Organize the Lobby.
o Order Office Supplies (Staples, Preferred Business, Dex Imaging, Etc.).
o Order Mass Cards and Sacramental (Baptism & Marriage) Certificates (Barton Cotton).
o Book mass intentions and Fill out Mass Cards (over the phone, in person, email, or mail).
o Coordinate Appointments/Sick Calls for the priests (Sick Calls are recorded after being done).
o Coordinate Wedding Anniversary Blessings.
o Process new registrations to the parish (both online and hard copies).
o Send Welcome packets and emails to newly registered parishioners (The physical packets have to be made).
o Update Parishioners Information (PDS and Cathedral).
o Update addresses from returned mail (PDS and Cathedral).
o Draft letters of membership for parishioners and mail them to parish requesting them.
o Record Mass Attendance.
o Pick up money from the shrine boxes twice a week and organize it before putting it in the safe.
o Record Stipends from Mass Intentions on monthly calendar.
o Take payments (Stipends, OFF, Church Donations, etc).
o Christmas Angels- Registrations, Labeling and Organizing Gifts, helping on pick-up day.
o Order and put out envelopes for novenas (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, All Souls).
Other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma
• Bilingual: English & Spanish
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Works well in team environment, as well as independently
• Ability to work some weekends as needed
