Job Description

Join our dynamic and mission-driven team as a Multimedia Design Specialist! We are looking for a talented and creative individual with expertise in graphic design and videography! In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to create visually captivating graphics, produce engaging videos, and lead a dedicated live stream team. Your work will play a crucial role in providing access to Jesus and proclaiming the Gospel, as you develop compelling visual content that aligns with St. Ann's brand messaging, effectively communicates the story of salvation, and ensures seamless live stream experiences for our parish community.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:
• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for various marketing channels, including digital platforms, print materials, presentations, and social media for the parish and ministry programs.
• Develop eye-catching designs for websites, landing pages, banners, infographics, brochures, flyers, and other marketing collaterals.
• Ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across all materials, adhering to established brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and ministry leaders to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet their needs and objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance the visual impact of our marketing materials.

Videography and Video Editing:
• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that effectively communicate St. Ann message, ministries, and brand identity.
• Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices to capture professional-grade footage.
• Edit videos using video editing software, adding visual effects, transitions, graphics, and sound to produce compelling final products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and to ensure video content accurately reflects their vision and objectives.
• Optimize videos for different platforms and distribution channels, considering aspect ratios, file sizes, and format requirements.

Managing Live Stream Team:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of live stream volunteers to support Sunday Masses (10am and 2pm) and important events (Easter Vigil, Christmas, etc.)
• Provide guidance and support to the live stream team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and tools to deliver high-quality live stream experiences.

Multimedia Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality designs, videos, and live stream experiences within the given timeframe.
• Provide creative input and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the impact and effectiveness of multimedia content.
• Collaborate with external vendors or freelancers when necessary for specialized projects or additional resources.

General:
• Assist with the execution of parish events (Parish Mission, Holy Week, Easter, and Christmas)
• Assist in the ideation and execution of marketing initiatives
• Actively engage in weekly meetings with supervisor
• Any other areas and tasks requested by supervisor or Pastor

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a graphic designer and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative designs and video production skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe or Canva) and video editing software (Final Cut, DaVinci, or Premiere Pro)
• Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition.
• Knowledge of videography techniques, lighting, and audio recording.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Familiarity with live streaming platforms, technologies, and best practices is preferred.
