Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Marketer and Web Specialist to join our marketing and communications team. As a Content Marketer and Web Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing compelling written and verbal content, as well as managing our organization's web presence in English and Spanish. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining engaging website content, ensuring its alignment with our brand messaging and parish’s mission to bringing people to Jesus, forming them into disciples, and sending them to transform the world.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy:
• Develop, execute, and manage content strategies that align with overall parish and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across all content and web channels.
• Leads the collaboration effort with stakeholders to develop audio and visual content. This includes but not limited to parishioner facing and internal meetings complete deliverables.
• Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Monitor content performance, analyze user engagement, and make data-driven recommendations for content optimization.

Content Creation and Management:
• Develop engaging and persuasive written and verbal content for various marketing channels, including website pages, email campaigns, bulletin, announcements, song sheets, podcasts, and videos.
• Develop clear, concise, and audience-focused content that effectively communicates our parish and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications team to ensure cohesive storytelling across verbal and visual content.
• Adapt written content for effective verbal delivery, taking into consideration tone, pacing, and audience engagement.


Website Development and Optimization:
• Manage the organization's website, including creating, updating, and maintaining web pages, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
• Collaborate within the Marketing and Communications department to develop compelling visuals and graphics that enhance the website's overall appeal and user experience.
• Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement, such as broken links, outdated content, and SEO optimization.
• Develop and monitor website analytics to track performance, user behavior, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Implement SEO best practices throughout website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and keyword-rich copy.
• Optimize website pages for improved search engine rankings, organic traffic, and visibility.

Translation team:
• Manage and assign translation projects to a team of qualified translators, ensuring clear expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Implement quality assurance processes to review translated content for accuracy and grammar, providing feedback and support to maintain high translation standards.
• Foster collaboration and communication within the translation team, facilitating regular meetings to share updates, address challenges, and promote knowledge sharing.

General:
• Assist with the execution of parish events (Parish Mission, Holy Week, Easter, and Christmas)
• Assist in the ideation and execution of marketing initiatives
• Actively engage in weekly meetings with supervisor
• Any other areas and tasks requested by supervisor or Pastor
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field; or comparable work experience
• Bilingual

Job Requirements

Skills:

• Proficiency in Squarespace and SEO tools.
• Understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimization strategies, and website analytics tools
• Familiarity with web design principles.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in marketing and branding is a plus.
